ABOUT THE SPEAKERS
Kim Marshall, Founder, The Marshall Plan, Co-Founder, S’Well Public Relations
Having worked as an executive at iconic properties like the Golden Door, Rancho La Puerta and the Grand Wailea Resort, Kim founded The Marshall Plan in 1995 as the first communications firm in the U.S. to specialize in lifestyle, hospitality, wellness tourism and sustainability, working with brands from Hyatt to Hilton and destinations from Turkey to Tahiti. Her first office was opened on Abbot Kinney in Venice and sixteen years later, she moved to Main Street in Santa Monica. Kim served on the Board of the International Spa Association and the Green Spa Network, was a member of the Global Wellness Institute’s Beauty to Wellness Initiative and she is the original of 92 Global Wellness Day Ambassadors from around the world.
In 2018 she co-founded an ancillary agency, S’Well Public Relations to laser focus on the many facets of the global wellness economy and in 2019 she created, co-executive produced and became the Host of the Global Wellness Summit Podcast.
Ariyana Hernandez, Nora Agency -- Ariyana is an integrated marketing and media relations executive skilled in creating strategies to unite both the digital and physical aspects of business - social media, traditional PR, digital marketing, experiential, and physical retail - to grow and scale brands. Together with her business partner, Ariyana co-founded NORA the agency - a marketing & partnerships agency working with emerging brands, as well as intentional global brands. NORA offers 360 campaign management services, touching all aspects of the customer lifecycle. NORA works with lifestyle brands, primarily in the fashion & beauty space. Clients include local emerging brands such as LoQ & J.Hannah Jewelry, in addition to global brands like L’Oreal & Armani Beauty.
Prior to co-founding NORA, Ariyana served as CMO of a local womenswear startup – building the brand from the ground up. Ariyana is a native Angeleno & received her B.S. from USC’s Marshall School of Business.
