The series takes place every Saturday from August 8 through September 12\, beginning at 7 p.m.\, and features an eclectic lineup of entertainment ranging from big band ska\, salsa\, and New Orleans funk to music-themed films or a combination of both all beneath the stars\, just steps from the Pacific Ocean.\n\nGet to know our first 3 big events:\n\n\n	\n	Aug. 8: Concert   Western Standard Time (all-star ska big band jazz)\n	\n	\n	Aug. 15: Concert   The Rumble (New Orleans funk)\n	\n	\n	Aug. 22: Concert + salsa lesson   Son Mayor (salsa)\n	\n\n\nPack a picnic and enjoy a fun\, family-friendly evening in one of Santa Monica's most beautiful parks.
