DESCRIPTION:Grab your running shoes! The Westside Food Bank's 32nd Annual 5K Hunger Walk is back.\n\nAfter being virtual for the last two years\, the Hunger Walk is scheduled to return to Santa Monica's Ocean View Park (2701 Barnard Way) along the Ocean Front Walk on Sunday\, Oct. 16.\n\nThe event is scheduled as follows:\n\n\n	12 p.m.   Registration and check-in begin\n	1 p.m.   Live entertainment (dance performance by The Pretenders Studio)\, activities\, games\, Family Fun Zone\, raffle and awards ceremony\n	2 p.m.   Walk starts\n	3:30 p.m.   Beach Bash After-party (ticket purchase required for entry)\n\n\nWSFB's goal is to raise more than $125\,000 to help provide nutritious food to people in need in west Los Angeles County. Every $1 donated during the event will provide four meals for the community. People can also text "WSFBHUNGER" to 50155 to help contribute to the overall goal.\n\nA virtual version of the Walk will also run from Oct. 8   Oct. 16. Those participating virtually will have multiple days to finish the 5K and wrap up on the same day as the in-person event. Virtual walkers can still make a team and fundraise   they'll just be doing it on their own time in their own neighborhood!\n\nAll walkers   in-person and virtual   will get a free T-shirt and swag bag for their participation in the Hunger Walk.
