Connections for Children: Betsy Awards & Fundraiser
Every year, Connections for Children hosts a fundraising event honoring early childhood champions. The Betsy Awards are named after nationally renowned early childhood pioneer Betsy Hiteshew, who helped found Connections for Children in 1976.
This year, we plan to posthumously honor long-time Chamber member Iao Katagiri and Baby2Baby—who was instrumental in helping Connections for Children provide diapers, wipes, and other essential items to hundreds of child care providers during the pandemic. The event will include a seated luncheon and awards program, along with live music. All funds raised will benefit Connections for Children.
