TurkeyTrot LA, Generic Events & The Midnight Mission
Turkey Trot Los Angeles returns to DTLA on Thanksgiving morning for its 14th annual charity run benefiting The Midnight Mission. Thousands of participants dressed as turkeys and pies will start and finish at City Hall and race through Grand Park, past Disney Concert Hall, The Broad, MOCA, and historic Spring Street. Runners can join the 5k, 10k, Widdle Wobble for kids, or the 1-mile Dog Jog with a goal of raising $100,000 to help those experiencing homelessness in LA. Participate in the 5k, 10k, or Widdle Wobble for kids and 1-mile Dog Jog for furry companions. Everyone gets a race shirt, sparkly finisher medal, and bib. Registration is now open.
When: Thanksgiving morning – November 26th, 2026 from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. 5k starts at 8:00 a.m., and 10k starts at 9:00 a.m. The Dog Jog starts at 7:30 a.m., and the Widdle Wobble starts at 10:15 a.m. Packet pickup opens at 6:00 a.m. on race day.
Why: Trot before you gobble! In the spirit of Thanksgiving, this event benefits The Midnight Mission – an amazing organization that offers a path to self-sufficiency to those experiencing homelessness. Create a fundraising team during registration!
